The examination season will very soon be with us. It begins in earnest on Monday 16 May and goes right through until the last examination on Tuesday 28 June. During this period every student in the school will unertake some external examinations. Please be aware that the regulations for the conduct of the examinations are very precise, non-negotiable and have significant consequences if students don't keep to them. Please help us to make sure that as before, we all work together to make the whole process as smooth and as stress-free as possible.

In particular do remember that examinations cannot be moved or re-sat if missed. Parents should also be aware that the examination boards will make no consideration with regard to the Isle of Wight Festival which falls during the examinations period. Parents should give full regard to the possible detrimental effects upon students spending all night on the Festival site and then having to sit an examination the following morning e.g. the Maths GCSE is on the Friday morning of the Festival.
